Hailing from the UK, Jack worked his way up as a sport scientist in professional football (soccer!) and learned his trade in the context of sports analytics. From monitoring training loads in athletes in order to optimize gameday performance to installing cutting-edge tracking systems in large stadiums, Jack’s work soon took him to the training grounds of some of the UK’s finest sports teams.

After your everyday, run-of-the-mill chance encounter on a boat in the middle of the Red Sea, Jack made the move into analytics consulting. Shortly thereafter, he joined up with InterWorks and made the move Down Under to Sydney.

Still a keen sports fan, Jack likes to build models to predict the weekend’s results of his favorite sports, and when he’s away from the office, he enjoys spending his time climbing, getting up close and personal with the wildlife beneath the waves or seeking out his next thrill.
