Austin is a tenacious optimist that loves taking on new challenges. From spending weeks in the backwoods of Yellowstone National Park to walking through the bustling food stalls of Bangkok, Austin loves to explore. That spirit has led him around the world and allowed him to do some pretty interesting things.

When he’s not outdoors or traveling, he applies that same curiosity to data tools. Austin enjoys solving a puzzle and then discovering new ways to solve it with new tools. He takes pride in quality craftsmanship through high quality data engineering.

Austin spent close to a decade as a member of the U.S. National Kayak Team. He represented the United States at five world championships throughout his career, even finishing in the top 20 at the U23 World Championships at his peak. That was pretty neat, and Austin can’t wait to see what other pretty cool opportunities await him at InterWorks.
