Cody’s story is full of twists and turns. After growing up in Stillwater, Oklahoma, he decided to chase his baseball dream at the University of Missouri – Columbia. It turns out he had quite the talent for baseball and was drafted by the New York Yankees. That’s right, those Yankees.
Life as an athlete kept Cody on the road, traveling up and down the East Coast. It was during the offseason that he learned to build his first PC and discovered a passion for technology. He even jumped on mining Bitcoin early, selling his coins for $7 apiece. (He’s still kicking himself over that one.)
After finishing his pro baseball career, Cody went on to pursue his love of tech at the University of South Florida. He graduated with a computer engineering degree and started a career developing Android Apps for a Department of Defense contractor in Tampa, Florida. When he saw an opening at InterWorks in his hometown of Stillwater, he thought it was time to come home.
Though he’s excited to be back in Stillwater, Cody loves traveling and experiencing new things, particularly if it involves trying new breweries and restaurants. His favorite trip so far? New Zealand. To stay in shape, Cody enjoys cycling. It’s something that he and his wife enjoy doing together, and they just finished their first Land Run 100 in Stillwater. Whether it’s baseball, technology or cycling, it’s clear that Cody is the type of person who goes all in.
Cody has been really busy, but we'll get some of that brilliant content out of them soon.
