If there’s one phrase to describe Ashley’s life, it’s “active.” Growing up in Salem, Oregon, she has always enjoyed the thrill of the outdoors. Her countless hours spent snowboarding, wakeboarding and wake surfing are the proof.
Not surprisingly, this drive for constant activity led her to pursue a business degree at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. There, she grew to love how individual pieces come together to form the bigger picture. It was clear that she was destined for operations.
After college, she worked for a consulting firm and loved the volume and variety of activity. More recently, she worked in accounting for an oil and gas company. That position was a little less exciting by comparison. Now that she’s part of InterWorks’ BI Operations Team, it’s safe to say that her work will be more like the former without a dull moment to be found – a fact she admittedly loves.
When not orchestrating all the moving parts that make InterWorks go, Ashley stays busy by trying new beers, cooking with her husband, or making Kombucha (a drink made by fermenting black or green tea). Since moving to Oklahoma, she’s gained a passion for cooking and baking – especially when it comes to perfecting well-loved and often-ruined dishes like Eggs Benedict and cinnamon rolls. Considering her love for details, it’s plain to see why.
Ashley has been really busy, but we'll get some of that brilliant content out of them soon.
