Martin grew up in in a small village along the Saint Lawrence river in Quebec, Canada, where everyone eats poutine for breakfast, binge drinks maple syrup and plays hockey on frozen ponds (just getting the French-Canadian stereotypes out of the way). He left home to study English in Vancouver before finally settling down in Seattle, Washington, where he currently resides and has been a neighbor to InterWorks for some time!
Throughout his career, Martin has channeled his energy to help organizations design, develop and deploy solutions to enable data cultures that benefit a wider audience with varying technical abilities. He’s passionate about removing complexity and creating solutions that are adaptable and scalable.
When he’s not helping clients with their data, he is an avid hockey player and spent many years as a youth coach while his son moved up in the ranks (his son now plays junior hockey). Although he may have lost a few steps on the ice, especially following knee injuries, he still plays the game in adult leagues around Seattle.
Martin has been really busy, but we'll get some of that brilliant content out of them soon.
