Garben Willis
Systems Engineer
A San Francisco Bay area native, Garben has always believed that technology and information should be available to everyone in society. He was raised on a Navajo Reservation and moved to Oklahoma to be closer to the Choctaw Nation. His thirst for knowledge led him to study political science at Oklahoma State University and, upon graduation, go on to work in public education in Stillwater.

After graduating from OSU, Garben decided to stay in Stillwater for the relaxed and grounded town atmosphere. With InterWorks headquartered there, it was only a matter of time before he joined the team. He delights in challenges that have technical solutions, which is a perfect fit for him in his role as a systems engineer.

Outside of work, Garben studies the Choctaw language and attends the annual Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival. He loves to visit arcades and is into gaming of all sorts (PC, console, pinball, you name it). This love of gaming is directly linked to a love of tech, and the issues of digital privacy and the democratization of technology are high up on his list of interests. These passions drive his work and motivate him to continue to pursue excellence in all things.
