It all started with a Nintendo. The O.G. Nintendo was one of Derek’s most prized possessions, traveling with him to and from numerous sporting events as he was growing up. In time, the Nintendo was replaced by Windows 3.1, which ultimately was replaced by more advanced systems.
Having studied graphic design in college, Derek was drawn back to his first love of technology after graduation. In his role as a systems engineer for InterWorks, he is able to engage with technology in a meaningful way. Tech is always growing and evolving, and Derek enjoys learning and growing his skillset, as well as making technology easy for others to use.
In his free time, Derek is an avid PC gamer and serious sand volleyball athlete. He’s a huge fan of winter weather and activities best suited for the cold: he and his family go on annual skiing vacations, and he played hockey for 18 years. When he does have to head indoors, technology and its constantly changing systems are always there to keep his interest and sharpen his mind.
Derek has been really busy, but we'll get some of that brilliant content out of them soon.
