After a prolonged stint drumming for Other Lives in the music industry, Colby found another love: Internet technology and being surrounded by brilliant, loving people. The technology world has always fascinated him, especially how fast it grows and how much there is to learn. That made joining InterWorks one of the easiest decisions he’s had to make, and after more than 10 years it’s still the case.

Colby still likes playing music, from jamming to Beatles songs on the guitar to writing something weird. He gets outdoors when he can. If it involves backpacking, camping, golfing or skiing, count him in. He also enjoys puzzles, mazes and games. Any and all games grab his attention, including cards, video games, board games, ping pong, shuffle board, foosball and so on (you get the point).

When it comes to hobbies, Colby likes creating things through woodworking and crafts, working on a private pilot’s license and creating board games with his wife. Most of the time it’s hanging out with his wife and two sons building Legos or train sets.

You could say that Colby has a broad spectrum of interests. It keeps him busy, which he likes. He doesn’t believe in boredom.
