Amit grew up in Saurashtra, a western region of India, before spending six years in Singapore and settling in Melbourne. His curiosity for “how stuff works” started early and fuels his belief that technology, especially AI, has the power to change lives. He’s happiest when solving problems and making someone’s day easier.

Outside of work, Amit enjoys gardening in the warmer months and streaming movies or shows when it’s cooler. A fan of classic films like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and oldies from the 60s through the 80s, he calls himself a couch potato but with good taste.

He also loves nature and architecture, often photographing landscapes and buildings rather than people. His favorite subject so far? A parrot that paid a visit to his backyard.
