Ben has always been the kind of person who learns best by tinkering. He enjoys diving headfirst into messy, real world challenges, from rebuilding an electron beam evaporator in his college lab days to re-plumbing the house after a deep winter freeze. Whatever the challenge, he enjoys breaking complex systems into smaller pieces to find solutions that actually work.
With a background in engineering physics, Ben naturally leans into analytical thinking. He’s always got an eye towards making processes smoother and decisions more informed, and is keen on bringing that mindset to each new challenge in his Data Engineering role at InterWorks.
Ben grew up in Portland, and when he’s not working on a DIY or data project, you’ll likely find him backpacking, trying to recreate his favorite restaurant dishes at home, or checking out a new coffee shop.
