Simon grew up in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and studied in nearby Eau Claire before recently moving to Portland, Oregon, with his wife Noelle. The two are soaking in the Pacific Northwest pace, sharing a home with friends and exploring their new city every chance they get.
Outside of work, Simon stays active running marathons, bike touring, playing music, and crafting stained glass. He recently discovered a love for trail running in the middle of a 43-mile Mt. Hood circumnavigation last year -- his first real trail run ever. He and Noelle took a cross‑country road trip this past summer, hitting national parks along the way. At home, they love hosting dinners and movie nights powered by their thrifted popcorn machine.
