Originally from Northwest Georgia, Zac moved to Atlanta to study at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Go Jackets!) He earned a bachelor's in business administration, but physics is his passion. He's had the opportunity to work alongside physicists and chemists in many different research labs as an intern. He has seen firsthand how data and statistical simulations can be used to discover amazing stuff. He's always had a can-do attitude and likes to take something apart to better understand how it works, such as his car engine or motorcycle! But he can always put this back together...usually.
Zac applies this curiosity and DIY spirit to his career, as well. He's constantly learning new analytical techniques and he loves nothing more than digging into a new dataset. He may call it lame, but his primary hobby is studying statistics and data in his spare time. Of course, he also enjoys reading, playing guitar and traveling. But deciphering how something works, whether it's numbers or engines, is his true calling.
