Brenden’s curious nature has led him on a diverse and circuitous path to becoming an analytics consultant. After seriously pursuing hockey in friendly-and-frozen Minnesota for most of his youth, all the money he spent on concert tickets and CDs inspired him to head to a small liberal-arts college in the Pacific Northwest to get involved with radio and study philosophy.
After four years of hosting a show and managing the station, Brenden’s itch to explore brought him to Martinique and Switzerland for teaching gigs, then to Montana and Colorado to instruct backpacking and climbing courses. Graduate school allowed Brenden to hone his passion for improvement and make the leap into the analytics field.
With a few 100-mile races under his belt, these days you’re likely to find Brenden running long distances in wild places. You might also find him pondering the merits of rock climbing at precisely the wrong moments, stitching together amateur podcasts and films, and fumbling through the speculative cryptocurrency market, while indulging in the craft coffee scene in Denver and Boulder.
