Benjamin was born and raised in Southern California, one of the few places in the world where you can go snowboarding in the morning and surfing in the afternoon. He spent the first two years of his time at InterWorks helping build up our APAC practice in Singapore before moving back to the U.S.
Benjamin is an avid traveler and adventurer, having visited over 35 countries. One of the most meaningful periods of his life was a six-month sabbatical when he traveled the world and hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro and explored the Himalayas surrounding Everest Base Camp ... not to mention many other unforgettable adventures across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In the two years he and his wife lived in Singapore, they were able to explore a lot of interesting places in Asia.
Benjamin is passionate about nurturing his natural curiosity and thus enjoys listening to podcasts, visiting museums, learning about history or discussing philosophy. A few years ago, he began practicing the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has been obsessed ever since.
Benjamin graduated from UCLA with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree before finding his way into the world of data analytics at a Big 4 consulting firm. Since then, he has worked multiple roles across the data continuum as a data engineer, visual analytics specialist, project management lead and business analyst. He has held certifications in Tableau, Snowflake and Alteryx and loves helping clients organize, see and understand their data. His official superpowers include eating leftovers, taking public transportation in foreign countries and telling funny stories about when he almost died.
