Months are kinda feeling like weeks this year, right? I’m not the only one feeling that?
Somehow, we’re about a quarter of the way through 2026, and things aren’t feeling like they’re slowing down anytime soon. But that’s okay! Whatever the year brings, the InterWorks blog will keep on chugging along. Let’s give a quick recap on what we published in April. We’ve got some great stuff in the pipeline we’re working on for summer this year, so keep an eye out for that too!
But first, here’s a track I had stuck in my head all month, so now I have to make it your problem:
All Flowers in Time
I’m glad I looked up the history of this song before I confidently posted a cover as the original version. “All Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun” is originally an unreleased demo by Jeff Buckley and Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins. The version that caught my attention, however, was this beautiful, soul-touching performed by Esha Tawari, which you can listen to here:
And man, what a good track. It’s got that line right in the middle of the chorus that just hits too:
All flowers in time bend towards the sun
And I know you say there’s no one for you
But here is one
It’s just such a romantic, hopeful arrangement, man. It’s actually, as you might expect, supposed to be sung as a duet. I came across another cover by Ruby Weapon and Hannah Telle that leans further into being a softer, intimate duet, if you want to go that route too:
That’s right: Two tracks for the price of one. You’re welcome. Anyways, on to the blogs:
