Another month, come and gone. Jeez, and what a month it was. In my personal life, I absolutely will not miss August 2026. Sayonara, arrivederci, adios to that accursed month. The “-ber” months are here, and I for one am grateful.
In my professional life, however, August really wasn’t that bad of a month. We’ve got a lot cooking on the backend, and the blog itself had some great submissions. A lot of quality made its way out the proverbial door. If you’re interested, I’ll recap them all down below for you (as you might have come to expect from an InterWorks blog roundup).

Somehow, Tame Impala’s “Loser” had flown under my radar until it showed up in the new Spider-Man movie, but man, it’s been on repeat ever since. It fits the movie’s vibe perfectly. Perfect for a breakup, broken heart, or being forgotten by the entire world and self-isolating to becoming a more effective superhero. Whatever your particular affliction is at the moment.
