This blog post is Human-Centered Content: Written by humans for humans.
Hey there, folks! This wild ride keeps right on going, doesn’t it? Nevertheless, so do we!
This month on the InterWorks blog, we had a record-setting number of blogs come out. From start to finish, we managed to get 32 blogs out into the aether, which is just incredible. Fun fact: In addition to these monthly blog updates I put out, I’m also the principal editor for our blog content and have been for the past few years. I can tell you first hand: Our blog contributors are second to none when it comes to organic blog production. I don’t have to chase people to produce blogs, there are no quotas, etc. Our writers are, as the kids say, just doing it for love of the game. Truly, I can’t thank them enough, and I hope the enthusiasm with with they fill my inbox with new blogs shines through in their content.
But, enough sappy thanks for our incredible writers. Here’s what you’re all, surely, actually here for: My music recommendations for this month. (I promise, we’ll go over our monthly blog list just below it.)
It’s Actually a Music Video?
So, technically, I’m recommending you three songs this week, but they’re all tied together in an incredibly gorgeous, hand-drawn, no AI used music video from Gorillaz: “The Mountain, The Moon Cave, and The Sad God.”
Where do you even start with this? The animation is just superb. I’ve been whistling the melody of “The Mountain” for the past few weeks. I rewatch the scene of Noodle mouthing “I love you” like I’m Ryan Gosling in “Blade Runner 2049.” All normal, healthy stuff.
For real, though, if you’re at all inclined toward Gorillaz, 2d animation or just looking for a palette-cleanser track to shake things up a bit, give that video a watch.
