Monthly blog roundups recap all the content on the blog for each month. These posts provide an easy way to skim through content that interests you.
You survived the holidays! Congratulations, dear reader. Now, you face your greatest trial yet:
Keeping up with your New Year’s Resolution.
Good luck.
In all seriousness, though, it’s great to be starting off the new year with you all again. I’m happy to share some of the blogs we published to round out 2023 and launch into a new year with all of you. Have I said “new year” enough for it to lose meaning yet? I can keep going if not.
Anywho, I’ll start with a quick music recommendation to kick off the year, then we’ll get under way!
Obligatory Music Recommendation
Okay, I won’t spam you with, like, 15,000 songs this month. You get a break. A breather.
I’ll just share two songs, both by the same artist: “I’m Cool” and “Mental Warfare” by Chikoi The Maid. I stumbled upon the microgenre of “Maidcore” last month, and Chikoi just hits right for me. Maidcore is kinda atmospheric, instrumental rock with electronic influences and what I’ve seen described as an “agressive-depressive melody,” but the whole thing gets a bit muddied when you realize every “Maid” in the “Maidcore” scene has their own individual sound.
Cool, not complicated at all.
Anywho, hope this sound is something you can vibe with. I find it to be great working/gaming music. Check out more of their stuff if it tickles your fancy!
On to the blogs! Most of us were occupied with enjoying the holidays in December, but we still put out a surprising amount of blog posts, considering. Tableau releasing Tableau Pulse in December may have had something to do with it. Check it out:
