Oh, what a year this is shaping up to be. Halfway through, and there’s been no shortage of excitement around the InterWorks offices. We’re looking forward to H2 of the year, pushing boundaries, learning and growing. That’s the dual edged sword of looking forward into the unknown future: It’s equal parts terrifying and exciting. Who knows what’s out there, waiting for us just around the corner?
But now, let’s deal with the tangible recent past. July was a variety show of sorts, but Snowflake clearly took the cake of what we were talking about most. That said, you’ll probably see a lot more pieces come out about InterWorks culture soon, as we’re trying to peel back the curtain a bit and show a glimpse of what it’s like working at InterWorks.
Before we jump into that, however, I want to share some of the tracks that I had on repeat through July. Hope you dig them:
You Can Have My Heart
I’ve been hitting the gym a lot the past month or so as part of the bulk I’m doing. My starting weight’s around 190 lbs (or 86 kg), and my goal for the end of the year is about 205 lbs (about 93 kg). Of course, I need a good soundtrack for my Rocky-esque six month training montage. One of the ones that carried me through July was Maphra’s cover of Bring Me The Horizon’s “Doomed,” which you can check out below:
What can I say? I’m a sucker for the overly-dramatic metal bangers that help me eek out one or two more reps with the sheer unadulterated power of hype.
But, music recommendations aside, let’s take a look at the blogs that we’ve put out over the past month! Hopefully, you find something useful here:
