When you were in school, did you have pages and pages of your notebook filled up with different variations of your name? Maybe you prefixed it with Dr. Maybe you changed your last name to that of your crush. Maybe you were trying to find a unique look for your autograph when you became famous.
Regardless, it was on all of your stuff, and you wore out so many pens and got borderline carpal tunnel in the process. … Right, me neither. Who would do that? That’s just weird, and only weird people would do such a thing, and we should point and laugh at those people if we ever come across them. I’m not sure where I even got the idea.
Leave Your Mark on Your Portals Export
Anyway … On a completely unrelated topic, if you have text that you want to put on everything of yours, you probably want that text on the exports that your portal’s report builder creates. For example, some companies like to have their name on everything, or maybe it’s just a legal disclaimer or other text that gets included on every document that comes out.
To do such a thing, you could use the report builder’s cover or footer pages. The problem is this: those are only at the beginning and end of the export. To get your text on every page of the export, there’s the watermark text setting that will ensure it is plastered at the bottom of every page.
Watermark Text Setting
To set the text you want used there, go to your portal’s backend and navigate to Settings > Portal Settings > Layout tab. Fill in the watermark text field and click Save to graffiti it on all the things.
Here’s an example of some text you can add to your export pages:
