As alumni of Maastricht University, we love to go back and contribute to the learning path of students. Therefore, Raphael and I were excited to be invited to contribute at the Career and Development Days held on Wednesday, March 13.

A Crash Course in Tableau Basics

Two groups of 30 students from all over world got their laptops ready to learn the first steps in Tableau. As Tableau and data-literacy skills are increasing in demand throughout the business world, students from a diverse swatch of study tracks chose to participate in our lecture, including those studying marketing, finance, economics, econometrics and business intelligence. Within two hours, students learned the basics of how to build a dashboard and how it could be distributed via Tableau Server.
