We just keep crushing the 2010’s. For the sixth consecutive year, okc.BIZ named InterWorks the “Best IT Company in Oklahoma” as part of their annual Best of Business awards. The announcement came during the Best of Business awards banquet held in Oklahoma City on March 29. Our feelings on winning yet again? Ecstatic. We’d simply be lying if we said that winning this award wasn’t a big deal – even after six years.

What Are the Best of Business Awards?

The Best of Business awards are pretty self-explanatory. Each year, okc.BIZ, a product of Oklahoma Gazette, hosts an online poll to determine which businesses in Oklahoma are the best. The poll covers a wide range of industries and is open to the general public over the course of a few months. The only condition is that nominees have a presence in Oklahoma.

The Circle of Excellence

We say it with each new award, but it’s a point worth repeating: By pouring ourselves into our work and forging lasting relationships with our clients, we set ourselves up for continued success. It’s not enough to deliver the best solutions or provide the soundest technical expertise (and we do); what makes InterWorks truly special is our connection to our clients. By listening to them and anticipating their needs, we build an uncommon level of trust.

We apply this same mentality to our work environment and employee relationships. We’ve found that taking care of the people who actually do the work enables us to do bigger and better things. It feeds right back into a circle of excellence (cue “Lion King” music). We take care of employees, who take care of clients, which takes care of us. It’s all about taking care of others.
