BBC Sport have just published their Price of Football survey where they looked at the cost of tickets,
programmes and old-school refreshments.

The following visualisation compares the BBC headline cost ‘Cheapest Day Out’ (the total cost of the
cheapest ticket, a programme, a pie and a cup of tea) to both goals scored and points won last season. 
When looking at the Value For Money viz then the further above the trend line a club appears then the
better value it gives for your money.  Obviously the furthest a club appears below the line then the
worst value for money it provides.  Crawley Town and the Peterborough are the stars while West Ham are
not…
