There are many of us at InterWorks who have deep roots at Oklahoma State University. Just recently, our CEO was honored by the OSU Spears School of Business as a top graduate. In addition to receiving a great education, we tend to pick up a fanatical devotion to OSU sports.
OSU boasts a rich athletic history in a variety of sports, but we are well known for our football and basketball programs. We also have the top wrestling program of any university to accompany our National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum in Stillwater. Though this year started out promising, our Football team has slipped a bit this year from our typical expectations. OSU has just one game remaining this season: our in state rival OU.
The Bedlam Series
The OSU vs. OU series, known as Bedlam, goes back over 100 years. OU historically has one of the best football programs in the country, and their all-time record against OSU certainly reflects that. However, both teams have a knack for upsetting the other when the favored team needs it the most. I gathered the last 19 years of game results and the betting spreads for most of those games to see how frequently the favored team is upset. OU and OSU meet again on December 6th, and OU will again be a heavy favorite, but they don’t call this game BEDLAM for nothing. See you soon, OU.
