I’m a bit of a Jeopardy! fanatic. Okay, that’s an understatement. I love Jeopardy! and I love trivia. Given the recent airing of the All-Stars tournament, it was a no-brainer for me to create a dashboard celebrating the Jeopardy! GOATs—the greatest of all time. Well, with a caveat: this dashboard only looks at champions who have won more than 10 games in a regular season.

It is interesting to look back at these players’ final Final Jeopardy questions. What topics toppled these amazing players? It’s also worthwhile to note Ken Jennings’ astonishing run; with 74 wins and over $2.5 million in regular-season winnings, no one has come close.

Creating the Dashboard in Tableau

My inspiration for the look and feel of this dashboard was obviously the classic Jeopardy! board. With a very limited data source (after all, not many contestants have been on the show for more than 10 games), I had a lot of fun exploring the visuals and interactions that give some insight into these players’ accomplishments.
