This week, I attended the annual Veeam Americas kickoff event in Alpharetta, GA. Normally, the event is for Veeam employees only and includes new hire orientation, sales/marketing sessions, presentations and training and lasts 3-4 days. This year, Veeam invited a few people from the partner and blogger community, and I was lucky enough to be one of those selected. Coincidentally, the Atlanta area received quite a bit of snow and ice on Sunday night/Monday before, which shut down the city for the majority of the week.
The journey was tiring but well worth it. I appeared as part of a panel on stage in front of all the Veeam folks and talked about the way InterWorks does business, and how Veeam products round out the VMware virtualization solutions we offer. We also discussed social media and its importance in today’s community. I also recorded episode 1 of the new Veeam podcast and participated in the newest InfoSmack recording.

If you have not had a chance to experience SureBackup and InstantRecovery (Backup and Replication v5 features), the product in general, or Veeam ONE, let me know and I will be happy to give you more info. I personally cannot wait for new Veeam announcements this year!
