InterWorks Named Tableau’s Asia-Pacific Services Partner of the Year for 2018

Last week, Tableau Software gathered in Singapore for their annual Asia-Pacific Partner Executive Kick-Off. During the event, they recognised their most impactful partners in the region with a series of awards. The APAC region covers East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and Oceania. We’re proud to share that InterWorks was named Tableau’s Asia-Pacific Services Partner of the Year for 2018! This honour was especially humbling given that 2018 was our first full year in the Australia and Singapore markets. The announcement also comes on the heels of InterWorks winning two Tableau Partner of the Year awards in the Americas.

“Our goal is always to deliver world-class consultation to our clients around the globe. I’d like to thank Tableau for recognising us again. We’re excited to work and grow with our clients in Australia and Singapore in 2019!”
James Wright, Global BI Practice Director, InterWorks

Global Experience, Local Care

As James mentioned, our impact in Australia and Singapore is truly a global effort. From our local consultants and trainers delivering solutions on the ground in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to our accounting and operations teams backing them up behind the scenes, dozens of people throughout InterWorks played a role in our success. Across the board, our team has done an excellent job of providing quality work while building lasting relationships.

“Australia and Singapore are both known for their innovative, global brands. Working with these companies, we’ve seen a real hunger for a strategic partnership on data and analytics. It’s been a great fit to bring InterWorks’ global experience and expertise to this region.” – Robert Curtis, ANZ Practice Lead, InterWorks

What’s Next for APAC in 2019?

Much like in our other markets, our focus for APAC in 2019 is all about helping clients explore the realm of possibilities in Tableau and beyond. We know there will always be new clients discovering Tableau, and by helping them build internal capabilities, we’re confident that we’re giving them the best start possible. For clients already using Tableau, we have several adjacent offerings to help them become more data driven at scale.

“We’re approaching 2019 with a more holistic view of analytics than ever before. Through solutions like embedded analytics and Snowflake, we’re focused on providing additional avenues of success for our clients. Our journey in APAC has just begun, and we’re incredibly excited about the year to come!”
Jia Liu, SEA Practice Lead, InterWorks

With that, we’d like to thank our teams in Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, our clients and everyone at Tableau for making 2018 such a great year in the APAC region. If you’re looking for a local partner with global experience to help you with Tableau or your broader analytics practice, drop us a line today. Our APAC team is also growing! If you think you’re a fit, we encourage you to apply on our Careers page. Cheers to 2019!
