Row-Level Security in Tableau Desktop
Row-level security allows you to filter out data from your dashboards based on the user profile accessing your data. This may sound a tad boring but is actually anything but! Imagine a world where you can make one dashboard, and it then knows who is accessing it and changes what data they see, how it looks and even how it calculates the same measure (like a profitability score). Well, welcome to that world with row-level security!

- Restricting data access by username or group
- Branding with colours, logos and conditional titles
- Extending this with conditional logic in calculations
We finish by leveling up with InterWorks’ own Curator, which provides a front-end for your Tableau content and lets you re-skin a central site based on user login.
