Rowan has always been motivated to help those with fewest opportunities and this was what inspired him to start his working life as a maths teacher in South Africa. After a few life changes and seeking a new challenge, he completed his MBA at Strathclyde, Glasgow and found his way to InterWorks.

It was a great fit from the start and after a couple of years as an analytics consultant, Rowan still leaning on his public sector background (and alongside his partner in crime Dan Rostron) found a new role as a public sector lead. Helping manage key relationships across the NHS, policing, Bank of England and many others, Rowan loves helping people make more sense of their environment through problem solving and of course, data!

His particular passion is helping break down siloism, cutting through politics and sustainably enabling people to share resources and best practise. Rowan does still keep his hand in with the data work, and you will often find Rowan solving problems creatively and logically and getting perhaps a little too excited at finding more efficient ways to do things.

Outside of work , Rowan can be found with his two much loved children, going for walks, hanging out with friends and playing football and golf. Rowan loves to travel, having been born in Zimbabwe, grown up in South Africa, lived in Glasgow and now finds himself in the Peak District.
