Legend says that Matthew inspected the state of the Earth every few millennia since the dawn of time to determine his birthdate such that he would come of age alongside the World Wide Web. He was destined for a career in programming and web development. It's been said that his inner voice is mere code scrolling across a terminal.

Outside of programming, he spends as much time as he can with his family, consisting of his wife who inexplicably puts up with his, let’s say, unique sense of humor and not-at-all-annoying techy quirks, and 2 kids who inspire and challenge him in every possible way. He also has a passion for anything motorized, tinkering with an ever-growing menagerie of hobbies, and hording countless unfinished projects related to those hobbies.
