A watersports man through and through, it all started at age five with sailing and then racing dinghies. Then he switched to windsurfing for a bit more fun when he realised that "you have to work a bit too hard to get to the Olympics in sailing."
Since then he has dabbled with kayaking, swimming, yachting and, more recently, wakeboarding. But no, not kitesurfing.
