Henry Arend
Platforms Architect
Growing up, Henry was one of those kids who was fascinated by taking things apart … he just wasn’t always the best at putting them back together. But practice makes perfect (or nearly), and years of this habit ultimately helped him become skilled in finding efficiencies within systems. This knack for problem solving wasn’t honed just by trial and error alone. He’d also spent years teaching students of all ages how to ski, so he knows how to handle a good challenge.
After graduating from Montana State, Henry began his career in Alaska as a server administrator but soon turned east in search of his next big adventure. As a data analyst, Henry has lots of experience managing Tableau and Alteryx servers, debugging and automating work for users and tweaking systems for faster, more streamlined performance. Now, he’ll continue to grow and develop his innovative solutions work in Chicago with InterWorks.
Out of the office, Henry has dedicated much of his life to outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, running or trekking through the snow. When he’s not Nordic skiing, he can usually be found standing over a mash tun of his latest home-brew recipe or cooking up a storm.
