Preparing Data for Tableau: 3 of 3 (video tutorial)

by Tim Costello

I find the best way to learn how to use Tableau is to find some real data you’re interested In, bring it in to Tableau and do something interesting with it. In this video series I’ll show you how I found some data and the steps I went through to shape my data so it would be easier to work with in Tableau.
In this video I show you the final clean up steps I took to prepare this data for analysis. If you have steps you always take when starting with a new data set, please let us know in the comments.
