Each year, CRN releases their Solution Provider 500 list (formerly the VAR500) to recognize the top IT service providers in North America by services revenue. Just recently, they announced the 2015 honorees. InterWorks claimed the #444 spot! This is the first time InterWorks has made this specific list, joining 24 other newcomers.
“These lists are always a nice benchmark for our progress, and this particular list illustrates that we’re doing things on a bigger scale than ever,” said CEO Behfar Jahanshahi. “Even so, we still measure progress at InterWorks by more than just revenue or growth; we measure it by employee and client success. The rewards that follow are just icing on the cake.”
Doing IT Our Way
When it comes to industry recognition, there are several ways of making the cut. For some folks, landing on these lists is simply the product of selling the most things, regardless of the impact that may have on client relationships. For others, they may have thrown all their resources into riding a new bubble that has seen their business grow exponentially (at least for now). The problem with these methods is that they’re rarely sustainable. You can only pull them off for so long before the consequences catch up. That’s why at InterWorks, we decided to do things a bit differently from the get go.
Above: Work and fun are never far off from each other at InterWorks; just one of our differences.
If you’ve followed us for the past few years, you might’ve noticed that we repeatedly receive recognition through programs like the CRN Fast Growth 150, Inc. 5000, Best Places to Work in Oklahoma and more. On top of that, we keep making new lists like this one each year. We’re not trying to boast about our achievements; we’re just incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the years! Still, the question remains:
“How do we continue to grow and gain recognition if we don’t adhere to the above business practices?”
We’ve said it before, but the answer is quite simply: relationships. Be it with clients, partners or employees, we strive for lasting, positive relationships in all we do. If we’re not truly helping others through technology and providing a fun place to work, we’re not doing what we set out to do when InterWorks first began. Meticulously building relationships may not be the fastest path to success, but we’re confident that it’s what will keep us successful and landing on lists like the Solution Provider 500 for a long time to come.
