Windows Vista/7 Activation Error

//

I had an error message stating “Windows Activation Error: A problem occurred when windows tried to activate”. The error code listed was 0x8007232B DNS name does not exist. I double checked, and even though all DNS settings were correct, I still kept getting this error. It seemed that all Windows features were functional except that after a reboot the profile settings were reset. After some research it seams this problem occurs when you are using a Microsoft MAK (Multiple Activation Key). To resolve the issue, just go to control panel then click on the system icon. Scroll to the very bottom and click “Change Product Key”. Re-enter the MAK and it should activate your version of Windows.
