This photo series takes you inside the homes and lives of InterWorkers as we navigate the world and workspace remotely.
The first things I need for the day are coffee, my planner and a favorite candle. Without them, I honestly don’t think I could function. Pro tip: Get yourself a Yeti-type insulated mug and thank me later.
Welcome to my dining room office! Since March, my now-husband and I have both been working from home while planning our wedding! Ah! You will find me here or at our fridge 90% of the time. I love the natural light from the dining room. I also have a great view of the road and can see when the UPS trucks arrive to drop off our Amazon packages.
At least I have a cute co-worker! This is Thunder, a six-year-old black lab and my best buddy. He spends his days looking for snacks, snoring during Zoom calls and making cameos in meetings.
When I’m not on a call, you will usually find me with Friends or Spotify playing in the background. I’m constantly looking for new things to listen to and actively asking co-workers or friends for suggestions. My newest interest is around business development and learning more about the tech industry as a whole, so I can better support my clients.
The AE life is full of fun Zoom calls. Occasionally, we get to jump on calls with our partners! This call in particular was with Tableau, and we played trivia. I love the creative ways we can stay connected even when we haven’t seen people face-to-face in so long.
Unfortunately, the recent Oklahoma ice storm took over my tree, but my walks to the mailbox and back help keep my mind clear. It is amazing what five minutes away from my computer will do for my mental health. I try to go on a little walk a couple of times a day if I can (and take Thunder, too).
There’s nothing like a friendly front porch to make working from home more cozy.
We’re enjoying the fall weather for as long as we can!
