Originally from Cienfuegos, Cuba, Josias Hernandez Perez brings a natural curiosity and love of learning to everything he does. Outgoing by nature, he enjoys diving into new experiences, whether it’s picking up the piano and guitar, singing in a choir, or exploring the depths of history through museums, ruins, and a good period film.

That same curiosity shaped his professional path. Josias began with a degree in computer science and later earned a fully funded scholarship to study marketing in the UK. Now, he’s combining his tech and business background through the MS in Data Science program at OSU, preparing for the evolving data-driven job market in the U.S.

As a BI Intern at InterWorks, Josias has found a welcome surprise in both the role and the community. Stillwater might be a long way from the sea, but the warmth and openness of the people—and the culture at InterWorks—have made a lasting impression. He’s excited to contribute, learn and grow alongside the team.
