At Migrahack 2016 in Chicago, participants will use data and storytelling tools to illuminate immigration issues. They will form teams and create visual journalism projects to share on social media and to be republished in traditional media. Together, these diverse groups use the power of data visualization to tell stories driven by data. It’s an unexpected collaboration that, when you think about it, makes a lot of sense.

InterWorks is supporting Migrahack 2016 by providing Tableau data visualization training and guidance, as we have for years past. This training is integral in helping students build their visualizations, shape their stories and also exposes them to the power/ease of Tableau.
