CHALLENGE:

Amquip Board of Directors asked InterWorks to create and implement a disaster recovery solution which would minimize the impact a disaster would have on business operations company-wide.

SOLUTION:

InterWorks analyzed Amquip’s current environment, taking into account infrastructure, voice and data communications, server functions, and business critical applications. An offsite vm environment was established, and data synchronization was configured to maintain a real-time backup of their data. Additional data and voice circuits were installed for failover, and detailed procedures were established for implementation.

RESULTS:

InterWorks developed, tested, and documented a well-structured and easily-understood plan which will help the company recover as quickly and effectively as possible from an unforeseen disaster or emergency which interrupts information systems and business objectives.
