Just last week, Ruckus Wireless held their annual BiG DOGs Partner Conference in beautiful Miami, FL. The conference brought together 200 of Ruckus’ best partners in order to share insight and glimpse ahead into what’s around the corner for the enterprise wireless industry. As a relatively new Ruckus partner, InterWorks was excited to head to Miami’s sunny shores to run with the big dogs. Here are some highlights from the event:

The Accommodations and Venues

The conference primarily took place at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne. If you’re wondering how nice the hotel was, you need only look at the name. The fact that conference activities were held at the hotel’s facilities also made things much easier. On the last night, Ruckus held their Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony at Bongos Cuban Café and Club.

Informative Enterprise Wireless Presentations and Breakout Sessions

The numerous presentations and breakout sessions were a terrific way to dig into the technical side of things. It was interesting to see the innovative ways other partners and businesses implemented Ruckus solutions. All the sessions were great, but one in particular stood out to us:

This session really helped us to analyze the effectiveness of our pre-installation, post-installation, testing methodologies and tools. We gained some valuable insights into how to further improve these processes to make implementation a breeze. The best part about a conference like this is the ability to come together and find new ways to improve our solutions.

New Ruckus Product Announcements

As with any big conference, Ruckus announced some exciting new products that will be available shortly. We’d love to tell you what they are, but they’re secret for the time being. Don’t worry though, we’ll keep you posted.
