Google Invests In Further Development of Drupal

Each year, Google holds it’s Summer of Code events – sponsoring students and aspiring developers as they work to create and improve open source products.

This year, Google has confirmed that they will offer over $90,000 in sponsorship funds for 18 Drupal developers. Google’s ongoing interest in Drupal, calculated at over $400,000 to date, helps to define Drupal as one of the premier open source tools available.
