Vim: Cut, Copy, Paste Easily

This has been driving me nuts, there are a million ways to do this, but this is by far the easiest method I have found:

  1. Move to the beginning of the block you want to cut/copy and press shift + V for whole lines or CTRL + v.
  2. Move to the end of the block.
  3. Press d (cut) or y (yank/copy).
  4. Move to where you want to paste and press p.
