It’s been a little over a year since Salesforce and Tableau officially joined forces, bringing together the best of the CRM and visual analytics worlds respectively. One of the great strengths of both Salesforce and Tableau is their extended partner network – essentially, the hands and feet that help customers get the most out of these impactful platforms. Recognizing the contributions of this partner network, Salesforce just released their partner of the year awards for 2020. We’re proud to announce that InterWorks was named their first and only Global Tableau Partner of the Year!
How Award Winners Are Determined
First, it’s probably important to share how Salesforce determined who their Global Tableau Partner of the Year is. Here’s the rationale per their official announcement:
“This year, we did not open the Analytics category for nominations. Instead, we used performance-based criteria to determine the two winners based on the past 12 months of performance. Instead of a single Analytics award, we are granting two awards, one for the top Tableau Partner globally and one for the top Tableau CRM Partner (formally Einstein Analytics).”
Additionally, it’s important to note that this specific Tableau award comes directly from Salesforce while Tableau generally releases their own set of awards each February. InterWorks has had an impressive track record there, winning three Partner of the Year awards last year and 16 in total since the Tableau partner program began.
Thoughts on Being Global Tableau Partner of the Year
If we’re being completely honest, these awards from Salesforce kind of caught us by surprise! We didn’t know they had planned on releasing them, let alone that we would win the top Tableau partner spot. That’s pretty cool to us in a way because it means we earned that award by simply doing what we always do – delivering excellent service to our clients to help them get the very best out of their Tableau investment.
More important than any performance metrics are our relationships with our wonderful clients. We think if you put that first, the rest follows. Of course, we owe a huge congratulations to our talented team for always doing their best work and upholding the highest standards when delivering Tableau consulting, training or any service for that matter – Tableau-related or not. Here’s to keeping that momentum going into 2021.
