First create a new local user profile with administrator rights. Then log into the domain user account if it has never been logged into before. Once logged into the domain user account, it will look like whatever the default user account settings are currently set to. Next reboot the computer and log into the new local user profile with administrator rights. Once this is done, right click on My Computer and choose properties. After choosing properties, go to the advance tab within the properties window. Then click on the settings tab for user profiles, when this opens you should see all current user profiles associated with this computer. Now choose the locale user profile you want to copy, and click on copy to. Once the copy to box opens, select browse and go to the local hard drive of the computer. Go to documents and settings under the local hard drive, and you will see the domain users account folder, select it and hit the ok button. Once the computer finishes copying the local user profile to the domain users profile, log into the domain profile and verify the domain profile is the same as the local profile.
