Communication Concepts, Inc. recently announced award winners in the annual publication excellence awards, the APEX Awards. InterWorks’ Creative Manager, Kim Woodard, received an Award of Excellence in the Web & Intranet Site Design & Illustration category for her submission of the design for the Oklahoma Technology Forum Site Design. The site is a concept design for the Oklahoma Technology Forum, which is hosted quarterly by InterWorks and serves as an informative session for guests covering a variety of business solution topics. Most recently, InterWorks paired with Dell to host a forum covering Disaster Recovery Planning and Data Backup & Storage with special guests, the Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers.
Although the OKTF website has yet to be launched, the design serves as a concept proposal. The proposed site will be utilized to feature recent news, calendar of upcoming events and serve as a resource for information for other technology companies and businesses in the region. The site will also be a catalyst to share recent technology innovations with the community of experts and open discussions.
Kim’s OKTF website design was chosen for an Award of Excellence among 3,300 submissions in 130 categories. A panel compiled of qualified expert publishers judged the awards, and winners were based on “excellence in graphic design (…) and achieving overall communication, effectiveness and excellence.”
Congratulations Kim!
