Born and raised in Garden City, Kansas, Kelsey spent two years during elementary school in Toowoomba, Queensland, in Australia. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s in agricultural sciences and natural resources, Kelsey flew back to Australia for a year of traveling before she started her career in, well, career services!
Upon her return to the States, Kelsey landed a job at OSU's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources where she helped freshmen students transition to OSU. In 2013 she started in the Spears School of Business, eventually becoming their Manager of Career Services. There, she worked with companies from all over the U.S. to ensure Spears students had great job opportunities after graduation. She also saw firsthand how technology can help solve problems in the business world. Her dad's lasting influence fostered her interest in technology, which is what brings her to InterWorks today. Now she finds herself on the hiring side of the career services field.
Kelsey’s family and friends are the most important aspects of her life, but she still loves traveling. Since her parents live in Australia, it gives her a good excuse to see the world. Kelsey has a gift for hospitality and enjoys having a house full of her favorite people, especially if it involves a theme or food. Speaking of food, her favorite meal is a medium-rare steak (probably because she grew up in an agricultural area where the beef cattle outnumbered the people) paired with a glass of Shiraz. She clearly has a rich palate for adventure!
