VISUALIZING DATA AND COMMUNICATING INFORMATION
This session will introduce participants to the fundamentals in data visualization and information communication. They will learn what data visualization is, why it’s important, and different visualization methods. They will also learn how to target their visualizations to a specific audience, develop proper metrics, and effectively communicate the key conclusions. By the end of the session participants will:
- Learn how to choose the most effective metrics for measuring goals
- Learn how to choose the proper visualization
- Learn how to tell a story with their data
- Learn how to tailor their visualization to their audience
