Ben Parr at Mashable posted an interesting article on a new service called Pearltrees. This tool provides a visual way to organize your website bookmarks. It also includes aspects of social media, allowing you to share your Pearltrees with other registered users.
It’s a very different way to view this kind of information. I can see some value in it for three reasons: 1) I like visual dipictions of data 2) I like being able to view other people’s weblinks 3) I like the social aspects of the service.
By downloading a Firefox toolbar you can quickly add websites to your Pearltrees.
