MULTIPLAYER WORD GAME DEVELOPED FOR BLACKBERRY MARKET
STILLWATER, OKLA.- Great news for those who love crossword-battling games but have a BlackBerry device! “Fightin’ Words” has been released this week by the mobile application development team at InterWorks, Inc. “Fightin’ Words” is a BlackBerry crossword game that allows players to battle with a live opponent to dominate the board by strategically placing words while collecting points.
“We noticed that the BlackBerry market was under served when it came to this type of crossword style game, so we quickly implemented a plan to develop a game that was relevant in popularity especially for BlackBerry users.” said Cole Shelton, Director of Software Development at InterWorks. “The test version of ‘Fightin’ Words’ was released to InterWorks employees to evaluate the game in the final stages of development – there were definitely some epic word battles going down in the office! We think it is perfect answer for a crossword game on the BlackBerry platform; we plan to keep developing more apps across all mobile platforms.”
This isn’t the first time that InterWorks has developed mobile gaming software. Most recently, InterWorks paired with a Hollywood film entertainment company to develop an Android game based on a feature film.
InterWorks’ “Fightin’ Words” game launched on May 11, 2011 on the BlackBerry App World store.
