It’s that time again! Our next Tableau Users Group meeting will be on Tuesday, April 26, at the Loop Campus of DePaul University. This will be a special program with Tableau Zen Master Joe Mako and Dan Murray of InterWorks. Dan is also the author of Tableau Your Data!
Joe Mako will cover topics that allow us to move from an instrumental understanding (following a recipe) to a relational understanding (knowing the factors and interactions) of Tableau. The result is that we will be less frustrated and have the ability to figure out “Why did Tableau do that?” and “How can I get Tableau to do what I want it to do?” Dan Murray will cover techniques and tools available within Tableau for doing discovery analysis and predictive analysis along with a review of integrations with other tools (like Python and R) to “operationalize” predictive analytics within web frameworks.
Please note: these topics will be most useful for users at an intermediate to advanced level who have experience with Tableau.
